Give yourself a chance to :
1. Stand atop the 2nd highest peak of Maharashtra – Taramati 4688ft.
2. Camp 3500ft above sea level right on top of the famous Kokankada.
3. Get mesmerized by the cave of Kedareshwar and Harishchandreshwar Temple.
The carvings on the temples of Nageshwar, Harishchandreshwar Temple, and in the cave of Kedareshwar indicate that the fort belongs to the medieval period. The fort was also under the control of the Mughals and was later captured by Marathas it in 1747.On a clear day one can see Baleshwar, Aajoba, Ratangad, Katrabai Pass, Bhairavgad, Nakta, Malshej Ghat, Naneghat, Kunjargad, Kaladgad and even Kalasubai. One of the major attractions at the fort is Kokankada – a concave cliff facing west. Kokankada is a concave semicircular wall standing tall at 3500ft approx. When viewed from the side its a treat for any traveller’s eye.
This trek is not recommended for people who are not physically fit/active. We highly recommend to check the photos and video link provided below before registering for the trek.

Itinerary :
Saturday Night: Day 1
Meeting Point : 11:00 pm – Pritam Dhaba – Dadar East .
( Pickup Point :- Sion / Ghatkopar / Mulund / Thane )
11:45 pm : Nitin company auto stand – Thane.
Day 2 – Saturday:
01:30 am – Kalyan Bhiwandi bypass.
04:00 am – Reach Pachnai and rest for the night.
06:00 am : Wake up call!
07:30 am : Begin the trek after breakfast.
11:00 am : Reach Harishchandreshwar temple and explore the neighbouring temples and lake.
01:00 pm : Reach the mighty Kokankada.
02:00 pm : Post lunch we start descending the fort and again walk down the trail through the forest till the base.
04:00 pm : Return journey back to Mumbai.
