Fireflies: Did you know there are over 2,000 species of fireflies, each with a unique flashing pattern? These mesmerizing creatures are alive for only two months of the year in India, during May and June. Their blinking lights are part of a fascinating mating ritual—male fireflies flash to attract females. A fun fact: if you shine a torch at a tree full of fireflies, they go wild, thinking a giant firefly has arrived to steal their mates!

Sandhan Valley: Asia’s second-largest canyon, Sandhan Valley, is a breathtaking mix of a canyon and a valley. Nestled in the Sahyadri mountain ranges near the famous Ratangad Fort, this valley is known as the Valley of Suspense. Walking through its narrow passages, flanked by towering 350 ft rock walls, is a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Bhandardara: A picturesque holiday village in the Ahmednagar district, Bhandardara is a perfect blend of natural beauty, waterfalls, and lush greenery. Sitting by the Pravara River, it is home to many attractions, including Wilson Dam, Arthur Lake, and the stunning Randha Falls. The latest sensation in Bhandardara is the magical Fireflies Festival, making it an unmissable experience!

Event Itinerary:

Day 0: Friday
9:30 PM – Departure from Pune by A.C. TT / BUS

Day 1: Saturday
• 5:30 AM – Arrive at base village Samrad & rest
• 7:30 AM – Breakfast
• 8:00 AM – Explore the spectacular Sandhan Valley & enjoy photography
• 1:00 PM – Return to base village for lunch & rest
• 4:30 PM – Visit Ghatghar Dam, enjoy the serene waters
• 6:30 PM – Reach campsite & set up tents
• 7:00 PM – Fun games & dinner
• 9:00 PM – Walk into the jungle for a breathtaking display of millions of fireflies
• Late Night – Campfire, ghost stories, and endless conversations under the starlit sky. Sleep in tents whenever you wish!

Day 2: Sunday
• 7:30 AM – Wake-up call
• 8:00 AM – Freshen up & enjoy breakfast with tea
• 9:00 AM – Explore the spectacular Konkan Kada, a paradise for photographers
• 1:00 PM – Delicious village lunch (Veg/Non-Veg)
• 2:30 PM – Start the return journey to Pune with cherished memories
• 8:30 PM – Arrive in Pune
