Fireflies:
There are more than 2000 species and each has a unique flashing pattern. They are alive for only 2 months of the year in India, May and June. They hatch from their eggs, become the cool flickering bulbs, attract a mate, lay eggs and then die. The eggs then hatch the next may. It’s a mating thing. The male fireflies blink their bum’s silly to attract the female firefly. If you flash a torch on a tree full of fireflies, they go mad. They must think a big firefly has arrived to steal their ladies…
Sandhan valley is Asia’s second largest Canyons in the Sahyadri mountain ranges. It is a very good combination of a canyon and a valley. Located in the Nagar district, near the famous fort Ratangad, Sandhan valley is undoubtedly The Valley of Suspense. Walking through the narrow streak of valley with 350 ft rock walls on both the sides is a lifetime experience. Exploring Sandhan valley is always a memorable.
Bhandardara is a holiday village on the western ghat of India. The village is located in the Ahmednagar district of the state of Maharashtra. Bhandardara sits by the Pravara River, and is a blend of natural beauty, waterfalls, mountains, tranquillity, greenery, invigorating air and pristine ambiance. The Bhandardara Lake and the Randha falls are major tourist attractions.
Bhandardara is full of attractions – from Wilson Dam to Arthur Lake. The recent attraction in this place is Fireflies camp in the Area.

Friday 2nd June:

9.30 pm Starting From Pune

Saturday 3rd June:
5.30am – Reached base Village Samrad & Rest
7.30am – Breakfast
8.00am- Visit Beautiful Sandhan Valley the Valley of Shadow & Photography
1.00pm – Come back to Base Village and Lunch & Rest
3.30pm – Visit Ghatghar Dam and enjoy water
6.30pm – Reach to campsite and install Tents
7.00pm- Fun Games & Dinner
9.00pm – Walk towards Jungle to enjoy wonderful natural lighting by millions of fireflies.
As it gets darker and darker, experience the magnificent phenomena of fireflies lighting display. Celebrate the night with fireflies, ghost stories and the campfire.
Let that night have no end…Let the talks going on and on…meanwhile, for those who are very sleepy, let the night take charge of you. Off to your tents for sweet dreams. Day ends.

Sunday 4th June:
7.30am – Wakeup call
Fresh n up and Breakfast and Tea
9.00am – Explore Beautiful Konkan Kada & Photography
1.00pm – Lunch Veg/Nonveg (Tasty Village Food)
2.30pm – Start journey back to Pune with lots of beautiful memories
8.30pm – Reach Pune
