*Camping & Fireflies trek to Murshet(Bhandhardara) 2023*

Murshet is a Village in Akole Taluka in Ahmednagar District of Maharashtra State, India. It belongs to the Khandesh and Northern Maharashtra region. It belongs to the Nashik Division. It is located 134 KM towards west from District headquarters Ahmednagar. 129 KM from the State capital Mumbai. Surrounded by mountains, Sunset & Sunrise are mesmerizing.

Itinerary

Day 1

Board Kasara local departing from CST by 11:42 am (Image of timetable attached for your reference)

Reach Kasara by 01:58 pm.

Leave for Campsite at 2.15 pm. En Route Halt at Dhaba on Kasara Highway for Lunch (On your own{TTMM}) – 40 min.

Reach the Base Village/Camp Site & Set up of tent & enjoy evening Tea with Sunset

Explore Campsite and enjoy BBQ

Dinner at 8.30 Pm & walk-in Jungle for fireflies, fun activities & campfire (Depending on Weather)

Day 2

Morning wake-up call at 7am. (Wake up at 5 am for a beautiful Sunrise & Time lapse)

Freshen up & enjoy breakfast/ Tea
Get ready and travel to Amruteshwar temple & Randha Falls.
Start our return journey to Kasara Station. En Route Halt at Bari Village for Lunch – 40 min.

Catch 4.16 pm CST bound local from Kasara.
*Things to carry*
1. Id Proof Compulsory
2. Bedding and sleeping stuff (as comfortable)
3. Water Bottle (2 Liters Compulsory)
4. Electoral Powder / Enery bars / Dry Snacks (dry fruits. biscuits, plum cakes, etc).
5. Good grip shoes – Must (Please check the soles of your shoes and get them stitched if necessary).
6. Personal Medication (First Aid Kit will be carried)
7. Toiletries (Napkin, face wash, tissue paper, etc.).
8. Mosquito Repellant
9. Cap, goggles (optional)
10. Proper Backpack to carry all these things (No handbags, duffle bag or jholas)
11. Camera (Optional)
12. Rain wear (Jacket / Ponchos ).
13. Extra Pair of Clothes (wrapped in Polythene)
14. Slippers (optional – at the end of the day/trek so that your feet can relax).
15. Torch with an extra set of batteries (Compulsory)
*No Drinking of Liquor or Smoking allowed during the Trek*
*Inclusions*
– Train Tickets from CST to Kasara & Back, Travel to & fro from Kasara station to Murshet Village by Shared Cab/Trax
– Evening Tea, Dinner on Day 1, Breakfast/tea on Day 2, Lunch on Day 2.
– Night stay in Tent with Carry mat
Exclusions
Mineral Water, Beverages, Bedding for a Night, Anything not mentioned in the above inclusion list
Few disciplines to be observed
1. Respecting cultural values please avoid revealing clothes.
Full pants & full sleeves t-shirt preferred
2. Be sympathetic to nature & avoid Plastic/Garbage.
3. Use the Garbage bag at Campsite to discard any Dry Waste.
