Exploring Antarctica (From India)

Experience the magic of the Antarctic Peninsula, home to dramatic ice formations and towering peaks. Enjoy guided Antarctica tours through icy waters, spot humpback whales breaching in the distance, and witness massive glaciers calving into the ocean. For the ultimate adventure, consider kayaking in Antarctica, camping on ice, or even taking a polar plunge into the frigid Southern Ocean.
Day 1:
Reach Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina.
Rest to overcome the jet lag of long flight.
Day 2:
Take a flight to Puerto Iguazú.
Day 3:
Explore the gigantic Iguazu falls located at the junction of three countries
Overnight flight from Iguazú to Ushuaia
Day 4:
Reach Ushuaia & Rest
Day 5:
We start a cruise in the afternoon. In the evening we sail along the famous Beagle Channel and the scenic Mackinlay Pass.
Day 6 and 7:
We cross the Drake Passage. The first sightings of icebergs and snow-capped mountains indicate that we have reached the South Shetland Islands, a group of twenty islands and islets.
Day 8 to 11:
We hope to navigate some of the most beautiful waterways (depending on the ice conditions): the Gerlache Strait, the Neumayer Channel, and the Lemaire Channel, the latter are narrow passages between towering rock faces and spectacular glaciers. We plan to make at least two landings per day
Day 12 & 13:
We cross the Drake Channel (northbound)
Day 14:
We arrive at the port of Ushuaia in the early morning and disembark after breakfast. We can take an afternoon or evening flight to Buenos Aires.
Day 15:
Return flight from Buenos Aires to India
Fees: Rs.11,50,000
