The name ‘Dudhsagar’ literally translates to ‘sea of milk’ which many believe is an allusion to the white spray and foam that the great waterfall creates as it cascades into the waters of the lake. The falls are at their zenith during the monsoon season, although they are a popular attraction all year round.
Dudhsagar Falls is a four-tiered waterfall located on the Mandovi River in the Indian state of Goa. It is 60 km from Panaji by road and is located on the Madgaon-Belgaum rail route. Dudhsagar Falls is amongst India’s tallest waterfalls with a height of 310 m(1017 feet) and an average width of 30 metres (100 feet) .
The falls is located in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park amongst the Western ghats. The waterfall forms the border between Karnataka and Goa states. The area is surrounded by a deciduous forests with a rich bio diversity. The falls are not particularly spectacular during the dry season but during the monsoon season however, the falls are fed by rains and form a huge force of water.

Tambdi Surla Waterfalls is Located inside the Bhagwan Mahavir National Park, It is a 12th century Shaivaite temple of Lord Mahadev. Due to its remote location, people often miss the opportunity to visit the temple. But a trip to Goa is incomplete without a visit to this ancient Tambdi Surla temple which is a treat to eyes because of its unique style of construction. Set amidst nature, this divine place is not known for its religious importance only but also known for its fascinating architecture.

DEPARTURE:
FRIDAY at 08:00 PM From Shivajinagar

ARRIVAL:
MONDAY at 07:00 AM at Shivajinagar

SCHEDULE:
Day 1: FRIDAY

Meeting point at Shivajinagar at 7:30 pm
We will be travelling by private non Ac bus
Overnight Journey toward Kulem

Day 2: SATURDAY

Reach Kulem Station by 6:30 AM
Introduction and breakfast
Start trek towards dudhsagar waterfall (12km)
Visit Dudhsagar Waterfall
Lunch at Sonalium Village around 2 PM
Start walk from Sonalium towards Kulem railway track approx.(3 hours : 10 km)
Dinner at Homestay / Hotel
Stay at Homestay / hotel on sharing basis (dormitory)

Day 3 : SUNDAY

After early Morning Breakfast , travel to Tabdi Surla by Bus
trek to Tambdi Surla Waterfall
Visit tambdi surla temple
Back to Hotel and Lunch
Start our journey back to Pune

Day 4: MONDAY

Reach Pune by 06:20 AM, Early Morning on Monday.
