Dayara Bugyal is perhaps one of the most beautiful alpine meadows in India. The meadow stretches out far and wide. The panoramic view of the Himalayas from Dayara Bugyal is breathtaking. The bugyal gets entirely covered in snow as it appears as tiny shining diamonds scattered all over the ground. As far as the eye can look, there is a sheet of white cover. Situated at an elevation of about 3750 m, Dayara Bugyal is second to none in natural beauty and perfect for the beginners. Dayara Bugyal trek goes through open stretches and dense forest at different places. The best time to do Dayara Bugyal trek is between December to March when the trails sparkle with pristine snow. The temperatures drop up to -5 degree Celsius during the nights. Each and every campsite on the trail of this trek is extremely beautiful and scenic. One can sure of getting awestruck with each and every step taken on this trail. Since this trek is an easy one, it is a great option for beginners. Experienced trekkers can also enjoy Dayara Bugyal as the trail is refreshing and not very crowded.

Itinerary

Drive from Dehradun to Raithal
Via Uttarkashi
Altitude – 7400 ft
Homestay

*Day 2 – 17th Jan 2023*

Raithal to Goi
Altitude: 7400 to 9500 ft
3.5 km – 3-4 hour, Gradual ascend
Easy trail
Stay in tents

*Day – 3 – 18th Jan 2023*

Goi to Chilapda

Altitude: 9,500 to 9,800ft
Distance: 3km, 2hours
Stay in tents
Easy trail, Gradual walk

*Day – 4 – 19th Jan 2023*

Altitude – 9800 to 12100ft

Chilapda to Dayara Bugyal Bakriya Top and back to Chilapda

Easy to Moderate trail
Packed lunch on the way
Carry water, only one water source
Massive views of many peaks and Dodital range from top

*Day 5 – 20th Jan 2022*

Chilapda to Raithal

Altitude: 9800 to 7400ft
Easy descend all the way

*Day 6 – 21st Jan 2023*

Raithal to Dehradun

Time: 6-7 hours drive to Dehradun
Leave Raithal by 6:30 am
You’ll reach Dehradun between 3-4 pm.

* Please do not expect any luxury during the trip.
* No alcohol or loud music.
* Strictly no plastics to be thrown.
* All participants must follow the trek leader’s instructors and must not stray away from the group.
* Veg food will be served during the trip. We will not be able to entertain to specific choice/demand of the participant.

Refund Policy:

Case 1: If the cancellation is done before 7th day from the trek date then FULL REFUND is applicable.

Case 2: If the cancellation is done before 4th day from the trek date then HALF REFUND is applicable.

Case 3: If the cancellation is done before 1 day from the trek date then NO REFUND is applicable. But, you are allowed to transfer your booking to anybody else with prior confirmation.

Note –
Rafting/Trekking/Rock climbing is an adventurous activity and accidents can happen in spite of taking utmost caution and care. MT will not be responsible for injury/accident to the participant while on trek.

Changes in plan / schedule can be happened due to the weather conditions and unavoidable reasons. Trek Leader decision will be last.
