Built on the Dhai river near Khalapur, Morbe Dam is a nice spot to seek some adventure in Malshej. It is a popular weekend getaway and has been used as a shooting place for various Bollywood movies.
Some of the popular times when this dam was featured on the screen includes glimpses from the movie Slumdog Millionaire.
The dam itself is huge, surrounded by these peaceful hills, and the lake just stretches out endlessly. Bring your favourite snacks and a picnic mat.
