ABOUT TIKONA FORT:
Standing at any corner of Pawana lake…You will witness a pyramid shaped mountain which always becomes eye catching for any nature lover. A beautiful one day return trek from Pune and Mumbai, this pyramid shaped triangular mountain “Tikona” aka “Vitandgad” offers a surrealistic experience of Sahyadri especially in blooming monsoon. Tikona is a very easy hike and can be easily climbed by any age group.
The fort has superb structures like serpentine shaped staircase towards the entrance, bastions,cave,temple and water cisterns having magical taste water !! The fort offers a superb view of Tung Fort, Morgiri, Lohgad and Visapur twin and gigantic pawana lake !!

ITINERARY:
Day 00 : Saturday
• 11.15 PM – Start Journey towards Base Village by Private Vehicle from SGNP borivali
Pickup location :
Borivali – Jogeshwari – Andheri – Bandra – Sion – Chembur – Vashi – Panvel
Day 01: Sunday
• 04.00 AM – Reach Tikona peth & Take some rest
• 07.00 AM – Have a Breakfast.
• 07:30 AM – Introduction, Briefing & Start the Ascend
• 09:30 AM – Reach the Top & Explore the Fort
• 11:30 AM – Start Descending
• 01:30 PM – Reach Base & have a Lunch
• 03.00 PM – Enjoy Pawna lake view
• 03:00 PM – Start Return journey with sweet Memories.

• A good trekking shoes, extra pair of socks.
• Extra pair of clothes, Rain Coat, Wind Cheater, etc.
• A haversack to put in all the things to be carried, so that one has ones hands free while trekking.
• Pleases do not carry sling bags or Jholas.
• Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments.

• Smoking and drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited.
• Sleeveless, Low neck, Figure hugging, Shirts/Tops, Short Pants, Hot Pant not allowed.
• All our photo, walks are Eco-friendly; kindly take care of nature around us.

• Do not litter, participants are requested to carry – – the waste back to the city and dispose it off in dustbins.
