About Sandhan Valley:
Sandhan Valley is a unique experience combining adventure activity such as Rappelling and staying amidst nature. Sandhan valley is a water carved valley around 200 feet deep. Sandhan is located near beautiful Bhandardara region near village called Samrad. Samrad village and Sandhan Valley is surrounded by Alang, Madan and Kulang Mountains.
Sandhan Valley trek starts from Samrad village.
Total trek time is around 5 hours which includes rappelling and crossing pool of water. And deep gorges and one of its kinds of lifetime experience which you feel at end of the trek.
The Great Grand Dad of all Treks – The Valley of Shadows, Where you’ll hardly get to see the sunlight, isolated from the outer world, dead silence, passing through those deep creepy ponds, lifeless rocks and boulders, Echoes of your own footsteps will make you feel like a presence of some entity, sleeping by the waterfall with the nocturnal creatures in sub-freezing temperature. You’ll remember this 48 hours throughout your lifetime.
Itinerary:
Day 00 : Saturday 26th November 2022
Catch the CST – Kasara Local train as per the timings mentioned.
12:14 AM – CST
12:22 AM – Byculla
12:32 AM – Dadar
12:42 AM – Kurla
12:48 AM – Ghatkopar
01:08 AM – Thane
01:32 AM – Dombivali
01:43 AM – Kalyan
03:00 AM – Kasara
03.15 AM – Depart to Samrad by a Private Vehicle.
06:00 AM – Reach Samrad. Take some rest and have breakfast.
07:00 AM – Move towards the entry point exploring Sandhan Valley. Rappel down a few patches.
05:30 PM – Reach the camping area.
Settle after a tiring day followed by talks, food and campfire.
End the day nearby a natural pool under the open sky & Tent Camping.
DAY 02 – Sunday, 26th November 2022
06:30 AM – Wake Up Call. Breakfast will be provided inside the valley itself.
08:00 AM – Start trekking towards Dehene village.
11:00 AM – Reach Dehene & Lunch.
01:00 PM – Move towards Asangaon.
03:00 PM – Reach Asangaon Station.
07:00 PM – Reach Mumbai (Tentative).
Note:The temperature is low in the nights so please come prepared for it by carrying proper clothing/bedding.

THINGS TO BE CARRIED:
• Identity Proof (Must)
• A bottle of water (At least 3 Litres),
• Torch with extra batteries (Compulsory)
• Some ready to eat food – Plum cakes, Biscuits etc.
• Medicine those which u require usually
• A good Trekking Shoes, Extra pair of Socks&Clothes, Mats, Sleeping Bags, etc.
• A haversack to put in all the things to be carried, so that one has ones hands free while trekking.
• Pleases do not carry sling bags or Jholas.
• Please avoid wearing Gold and other Ornaments.

• Smoking and drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited.
• Sleeveless, Low neck, Figure hugging, Shirts/Tops, Short Pants, Hot Pant not allowed.
• All our photo, walks are Eco-friendly, kindly take care of nature around us.
• Respect the heritage and culture.
• Do not litter, participants are requested to carry – – the waste back to the city and dispose it off in dustbins.
• Trek Leader’s decision will be final and binding.
• Participation confirmation only via confirmed bank transfer (50% advance payment)
