ABOUT :
Rajmachi fort which is surrounded by natural beauty , has two forts namely Srivardhan and Manranjan. Rajmachi is a small village situated in the Sahyadri mountain range in the Konkan region of Maharashtra.This fort is of Giridurg type and in the view of trekkers this fort is considered medium. This fort is 900 meters above sea level and 9 km from Lonavala in the village of Rajmachi in the Sahyadri range,
Rajmachi Fort is already very well known for its majestic views and beautiful trails in the Sahayadri mountains. In pre monsoon the rajmachi fort is the best place to experience amazing fireflies show that takes place there naturally.
Fireflies also called as Kajawa in Marathi are bugs that illuminate after sunset during to attract the opposite mates with pre-monsoon being the mating 7period for them.
Fireflies use different blinking patterns to impress the opposite gender; Lady fireflies, when dazzled with a light pattern, reply with a lighting pattern display to complete the match. Every year between the last week of May and the first fortnight of June, these fireflies land here.
Be part of this nature glittering show of fireflies in an exciting night trekking experience.

Day 01- Saturday
• NOTE : Mumbai people – Catch 12125 PRAGATI EXPRESS Departing from CSTM at 04:25 PM.
• NOTE : Pune People – Catch 12128 INTERCITY EXPRESS Departure from Pune 05:55 PM.
• NOTE : Khopoli to Lonavala share taxi is available , You come by local train then use this option
• 07:15 PM – Meeting time at Lonavala station. (For more info refer Travel Help)
• 08:00 PM – Travel to Fanasrai
• 11:30 PM – Reach Rajmachi Village
• 11:45 PM – Dinner
• 11:30 PM – Enjoy the glimpse of Fireflies, Sing Songs & Go to Sleep.( fireflies Depend on nature and Cloud status)
DAY 02 – Sunday
• 06:00 AM – Wake Up.
• 07:00 AM – Breakfast, & Start trek towards Shrivardhan fort.
• 08:30 AM – Reach at the top & Explore the fort.
• 10:30 AM – Depart for Lonavala
• 01:30 PM – Reach Lonavala & Off to Mumbai.
