About Kaldurg Fort:
Kaldurg Fort is situated to the east of Palghar, Maharashtra, India in the Sahyadri mountain range of northern Konkan. It is strategically situated at a height of at least 475 meters (1550 ft) above sea level, giving views of the Arabian Sea and the industrial town of Palghar to the west, as well as views of the Surya River, to the east. This rectangular shape of a fort can easily be located from a distance. There is no specific historic sign available except fort structure. The fort is divided into the upper part and lower part due to a rectangular rock. There are a few steps that separate these two parts. It is a popular destination among hikers. The trek starts at Waghoba Khind temple on Palghar – Manor Road.
*ITINERARY:*
05:32 am – Boarding in Dahanu Train from Churchgate for Palghar.
(2 hour journey will take us to Palghar Station)
• 07:45 am : Breakfast, Tea
• 08:30 am : Heading towards Kaldurga Fort which is half an hour journey by pvt vehicle or public transport
• 09:00 am : Introduction, Briefing and instructions and start trekking.
• 10.30 am : Reach on top and explore the fort
• 11.00 am : Start Descending towards Base.
• 11.45 am : Return journey towards Palghar Station.
• 01:30 pm : Reaching Palghar Station and catching Local train for Mumbai

• A good trekking shoes, extra pair of socks.
• A haversack to put in all the things to be carried, so that one has ones hands free while trekking.
• Pleases do not carry sling bags or Jholas.
• Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments.
