*ABOUT BHASKARGAD*
Bhaskargad Fort, also known as Basgad Fort, is located in the lush greenery of the Trimbak Hill Range at a distance of about 48 km from the centre of Nashik. Situated at an altitude of about 3500 Ft. above sea level. Bhaskargad Fort is said to have been established in the 12th century during the reign of the Yadava kings. However, later on, it was ruled by several other dynasties including the Marathas, the Mughals and the Bahmani Sultanate.
It was also under the rule of the Peshwas and other local tribes for a short period. Today, the fort is lying in ruins and has become a weekend stoppage for trekkers. The top of the fort can be reached by a flight of rock-cut steps.
*ABOUT HARIHAR FORT*
Harihar Fort is, located in Igatpuri region of Western Ghats. Situated at an altitude of about 3,676 Ft. above sea level. This unique fort is built on a triangular prism of rock. A small temple and a cave with water, situated on the top, are worth visiting.
Thrilling spot – Rock cut steps at an angle of almost 80 degrees vertical. While climbing the fort, we come across a rock-sheet, which has got steps carved in it. Also many grooves have been carved here for additional support. After climbing these steps, we get up to the entrance door.

*Day 1st – Saturday, 29th October 2022*
• Meeting Time – 09:30 PM Sharp
• Meeting Point – Chitra Cinema, Dadar East.
• 09:45 AM – Move towards Base Village
Enroute – Sion, Ghatkoper, Mulund, Thane, Kalyan Phata (On Eastern express highway)
*Day 2nd – Sunday, 30th October 2022*
05:00 AM – Reach Base Village & get Fresh
06:00 AM – Breakfast at the base village
06:30 AM – Introduction & Instruction Round
06:45 AM – Start Trek towards Harihar fort
09:45 AM – Reach Top & Explore the Fort
11:00 PM – Start Range trek Towards Bhaskargad fort.
01:00 PM – Reach Bhaskargad fort & Explore.
01.30 PM : Start Descend towards Base Village.
03:00 PM – Lunch
04:00 PM – Start a Return Journey
10:00 PM – Reach Mumbai (Tentative – Depends on the Traffic)

• A haversack to put in all the things to be carried, so that one has ones hands free while trekking.
• Pleases do not carry sling bags or Jholas.
• Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments.

• Sleeveless, Low neck, Figure hugging, Shirts/Tops, Short Pants, Hot Pant not allowed.
• All our photo, walks are Eco-friendly, kindly take care of nature around us.

• Do not litter, participants are requested to carry – – the waste back to the city and dispose of it in dustbins.
• Trek Leader’s decision will be final and binding.
