About :
Hadsar Fort established during the Satavahana Era. Hadsar Fort is unparalleled from the shape of the entrance gate, compartments for senteries, rainwater reservoirs, and rock-cut steps to the Fort Sculpted from a single rock. You can pay your respect at the temple of Mahadev at the summit of the Hadsar Fort. Rock carved statues of Hanuman, Garud, Ganesh statues are there in the temple. Vast rainwater reservoir located on the Hadsar Fort.
Chawand Fort –
Chawand Fort, also known as Prasanna gad, is a historic fort located in the town of Chavand near Junnar.. This fort is known for its historical significance and architectural beauty. It was built during the reign of the Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the 17th century.
Itinerary :
• Day 0 – Saturday, 04th November 2023
Meeting Point – Sanjay Gandhi National park Main Gate
Meeting Time – 11.00 PM
11.05 PM – Start Travel Towards Hadsar Base Village.
(Enroute Pick ups – Malad, Jogeshwari, Powai, Mulund, Thane, Kalyan.)
• Day 01 – Sunday, 05th November 2023
• 04.00 AM – Reach at base Village and Rest
• 05.00 AM – Get Freshen up & Breakfast
• 06.30 AM – Start Trek to Hadsar via Khilyachi Vat Climbing Route
• 07.30AM – Reach at the climb point and start climbing.
• 10.30 AM – Reach Top And Enjoy Scenic views.
• 11.30 AM – Explore Fort & Start descend Via Rajmarg Route
• 12.30 PM – Reach base village and Lunch Break.
• 01.30 PM – Start Travel Towards Chawand fort
• 02.30 PM – Reach Chawand Base & Start Trek.
• 03.30 PM – Reach Top & Explore Chavand Fort
• 05.00 PM – Reach at Base village & Start Return Journey.
• 11.00 PM – Tentatively will reach Mumbai

• A haversack to put in all the things to be carried, so that one has one’s hands free while trekking.

• Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments.

• Sleeveless, Low neck, Figure hugging, Shirts/Tops, Short Pants, Hot Pant not allowed.

• Do not litter, participants are requested to carry – – the waste back to the city and dispose it off in dustbins.
• Trek Leader’s decision will be final and binding.
