About Ghangad :
Ghangad is Located around 30KM from Lonavla-Khandala, Ghangad is one of the famous forts among trekkers from Mumbai and Pune. For a long time, Ghangad was one of the difficult treks because of the rock wall that needed technical climbing. But, after installation of a steel ladder, this fort has been accessible to all trek lovers.
Over 300 years old, this fort was used to hold the prisoners and also as a watch tower to keep control on the movements on nearby trade routes.
Though this fort is small, the trek includes all types of terrain which makes it very interesting, and the 360 degree view from the top is simply fabulous.
Itinerary:
*Day 00: 3rd June 2023 Saturday*
• 11.00 PM – Travel start from SGNP borivali, Mumbai by private bus
• Pickup location : Borivali – Jogeshwari – Andheri – Bandra – Sion – Chembur – Vashi – Panvel
*Day 01st: 04thJune 2023 Sunday*
• 06.00 AM – Breakfast at Ghangad Base Village.
• 07.00 AM – Introduction and Start trek.
• 09.00 AM – Summit Ghangad and Explore fort.
• 11.30 AM – Start Descend towards the base village.
•01.00 PM – Have lunch and Start return journey towards Mumbai.
• 06.00 PM – Reach Mumbai (Approx)

• A good trekking shoes, extra pair of socks.
• Extra pair of clothes, Rain Coat, Wind Cheater, etc.
• A haversack to put in all the things to be carried, so that one has ones hands free while trekking.
• Pleases do not carry sling bags or Jholas.
• Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments.

• Smoking and drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited.
• Sleeveless, Low neck, Figure hugging, Shirts/Tops, Short Pants, Hot Pant not allowed.
• All our photo, walks are Eco-friendly, kindly take care of nature around us.
• Respect the heritage and culture.
• Do not litter, participants are requested to carry – – the waste back to the city and dispose it off in dustbins.
• Trek Leader’s decision will be final and binding.
