*Basic Info:* Raigad Fort belonging to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is an imposing and famous hill fort nestled at Mahad, in Raigad District in Maharashtra. It is one of the strongest-ever fortresses of the Deccan Plateau and is known as the ‘Gibraltar of the East’ across the world. Several structures and other constructions in Raigad were developed by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He made this his capital in 1674, after being crowned as the king of the entire Maratha Kingdom and later on, the Maratha Empire, covering a large portion of the central and western parts of India. The fort was the location for an armed campaign executed by the British East India Company in 1765. On May 9, 1818, the fort was looted and subsequently destroyed by British forces.

11:00 PM – Journey begins by Local Travels ( Private Bus Or Car) to Pachad Base Village

*Sunday, 28th June, 2025*

04:00 AM Reach Raigad Base Village ( Pachad )

04:15 AM Freshen up, Introduction Round.

06:00 AM Starts Ascending Towards Raigad Fort

08:00 AM Reach on top Raigad Fort, Explore the Fort & its important monuments

02:00 PM Lunch Time

03:00 PM Start descending the fort.

05:00 PM Start journey to home with trek memories by Private Vehicle.

10:00 PM Reach Thane.

Things to carry: Compulsory :

1. Recommended to wear Full body covering clothes during Trek – 2 sets (wearing of Jeans is not recommended),

2. Swimwear (quick dry) according to your preference,

3. Proper Trekking Shoes with extra pair of socks or Trekking Scandal with well Grip.

4. Rainwear (Raincoat, Poncho etc)

5. 2 liters of drinking water in household Water Bottles

6. Head or Handheld Torch with Extra batteries

7. Eatables like Fruits, Plum Cakes, Biscuits etc. for hunger pangs. No OILY Food.

8. Please Carry Glucon-D, Electrol, Enerzyl or Vital-Z for energy boost & to avoid De-hydration

9. Personal Medicines, if you are on any Kindly inform Trek Leaders about the same.

10. A good Haversack, to keep all of the above things in it. Proper coverings for your gadgets like Mobiles & Cameras.
