This trekking hotspot is situated in the village of Bhavagiri. One of the twelve Jytotirlingas of Lord Shiva in India, Bhimashankar has always been a special place. Dense forests, lofty peaks and a plethora of animal life characterize this beautiful getaway.
Trek Via Khandas – Sidhi ghat
The route going to the left from the bridge goes to the village. The route to the left of the well in the village leads to the Shidi Ghat. This is one of the difficult routes to Bhimashankar. This route is called “Sidhi” ghat because of ladder (Sidhi) placed on the routes.

8:30 Pm: Depart from Hyderabad by Sleeper Class Train
Boarding Points: Nampally | Begumpet | Lingampally

11:00 Am: Reach Karjat
11:30 Am: have Lunch & Leave for Khandas by a private vehicle
01:30 Pm: Reach Khandas, start Trek to Bhushanam via Shidi ghat.
03.30 Pm: Reach Ladders point. Continue to top
(There will be 3 ladders & 3 rock patches to cross)
06.00 Pm: Reach Bhima Shankar…
07.00 Pm: check into homestay and frshenup. Relax
08.00 Pm: have homemade dinner and rest for the day

4:00 Am: Wake up, freshen up and morning visit to temple (Original Jyotirlinga Darshan)
5:00 Am: Trek to Gupt Bhimshankar.. Spend some time in Waterfall
7.00 Am: Have Breakfast
8.00 Am: Start descend via Ganesh ghat (enjoy the spectacular view of padargad)
1.30 Pm: reach khandas .. and start back to karjat in Vehicle
2.30 Pm: Reach Karjat and have lunch
4.45 Pm: Catch train to Hyderabad
Food Included: Breakfast, Lunch
