Location: Chincholi

Chanderi Fort is located in between Badlapur and Vangani and falls in Karjat Taluka, Raigad District. Chanderi Fort Trek is mainly of Jungle Trail. One comes across Huge Plateau, steepness of Mountain and finally the Caves of Chanderi. There is no fortification wall at Chanderi Fort but you can observe rock cut steps and various water cisterns.

Form the top, one can view Towns of Panvel, Vangani, and Badlapur. One can also try their eye to recognize various nearby forts such as Prabalgad, Kalavantin, and Nakhind.

Because of the approach to the Chanderi fort, limited space for accommodation and limited water availability made this fort to be used as a military base. However, confirm historical evidence is yet to be discovered.

▪ Saturday : 26th November, 2022
Board the Karjat Train leaving Mumbai CST @ 09:26 pm and reaches following station at given time below:
Byculla 09:33 pm |Dadar 09:40 pm | Kurla 09:47 |Ghatkopar 09:51 | Mulund 10:03 pm |Thane 10:07 pm |Dombivili 10:22 pm | Kalyan 10:31 pm | Vangani 10:57 pm
• Reach Vangani by 11.00 pm. Proceed to Chincholi (base village of Chanderi) by local vehicle.
• Reach Chincholi around 12:00 am.
• Freshen up.
• Introduction & Briefing session.
• Start trekking by 4.00 am. Reach caves by 7.30 am have breakfast.
• Relax yourself at the caves and explore.
• Start the trek to the summit point of the fort around 8:30 am.
• Reach the summit point with proper safety arround 9.30 am
• Start descending by 11:00 am & Reach base by 2:00 pm.
• Have lunch. Leave for Return Journey towards Vangani Station.
Tour Concludes with fun loving Memories..!

Rs – 700/- Per Person (With Travelling)
Rs – 500/- Per Person – (Base to Base)

3. Water Bottle (At least 2-3 Ltr) & ORS, Electoral/Tang powder/Glucose-D. *Compulsory*
4. Camera (Optional).
5. Some ready to eat food, Plum Cakes, Biscuits etc.
6. Personal medicines if any needed.
7. Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments.
8. Good Torch must with an extra battery.
9. Please bring your garbage back to the city and dispose of it in your bin.
