Andharban – Dense Forest Trek

Andharban is one of the most beautiful gradual descend trek through dense forest. We will be walking on a ridge offering an awesome view of the Kundalika Valley and the mountain ranges of Tamhini ghat. Evergreen forest covers you with shade and countless waterfalls. The same valley is the origin of the Kundalika River famous for its white water river rafting.

Itinerary:
#Saturday,
23:00 – Start traveling in a bus from Andheri. Pickup through JVLR, Mulund, Navi Mumbai

#Sunday,
04:00 – Reach Pimpri village and rest in bus for sometime
05.00 – Start trek towards Andharban; Breakfast on the way
12.00 – Lunch Break at Hirdi
16:00 – Return to Pimpri dam and have tea
17:00 – Departure to Mumbai
21:00 – Reach Mumbai (tentatively)

Things to carry:
– At least 2 litre water (preferably in personal reusable bottles)
– Good trekking shoes or sport shoes
– Adequate rain protection for yourself and bag
– We appreciate participants who carry healthy foods like dry fruits, Enerzal Powder, Energy bars etc.
– A haversack to put everything. Sling bag not allowed in trek
