Andharban Jungle Monsoon Trek on 12th July 2025:

The Andharban trek is a cross-country journey along an ancient trade route that connects a Sahyadri Western Ghats village to a village in the Konkan region. The trek features a mostly flat path with a gentle gradient, making it accessible for many hikers. Along the way, you’ll encounter numerous waterfalls and will need to cross two to three small streams, which lead into a dense jungle. Due to the thick forest canopy, sunlight barely reaches the ground, giving the area its name, Andharban, which means “Dark Dense Jungle.”

Itinerary:

Saturday: 12th July
5.00am-Start from Pune
9.00am-Reach Base village, Breakfast & Tea
10.15am-Start Beautiful Trek
1.30pm-Reach Valley view point & Packed Lunch
3.00pm-Start Return Trek by same route (No Descend at BHIRA DAM)
5.00pm-Reach Base Village
5.30pm- Snacks & Tea
6.30pm-Start return journey
Reach Pune by 9.30pm (Approx.). May get delayed depends on situation at Trek & Traffic.
