Anuskura Amba ghats 23,24 Nov 2024
Amba and Anuskura ghats are lesser known yet beautiful ghats connecting Kolhapur to Ratnagiri. There is also a road that connects Amba and Anuskura that goes parallel to Sahyadri main range via pavankhind.

Amba has many resorts which do fun safari in jeeps in the jungle. Seeing the sunset from the top of Amba Ghat is an experience to remember. It has many sacred groves to visit with a calm silent temple within. Manoli dam reservoir offers boating facility. This laid back small village offers tourists the opportunity to dive into
nature’s beauty.

Anuskura totally remains untapped from a tourism point of view. The view of Arjuna dam reservoir from Anuskura is awesome. During the Panhala fort siege the British sent their cannons from their Rajapur base to Panhala via Anuskura ghat. There is a possibility to take a stroll and nature walk around Arjuna dam. In fact walking in silos is a possibility at both these places. Barki, a small village nearby, has a waterfall and sada.
