Harishchandragad (Grade – Easy –Medium) is situated in Nagar district. Height of this fort is 4510 ft above sea level. Semicircular concave rock-face called ‘KOKAN KADA’ is a major attraction for trekkers. The near vertical drop of ‘1800 ft’ is a sight to behold.
History: Harishchandragad has ref. in various ancient scriptures, its origin is said to have been in 6th century, during the rule of Kalchuri dynasty.
A famous sage ‘Changdev’ has spent Time on this fort & wrote ‘Tatvasaar’ in the 14th century. The Marathas has conquered this fort in 1747 from Mughals.

Trek Schedule:
• Friday 20th Dec – Board 10:45 p.m. Kasara fast train from CSMT.
• Reach Kasara at 01:15 p.m. and move to Pachnai village by pvt Jeep.
• After breakfast, we will start our trek to Harishchandragad fort.
(2 Hrs). After lunch, we will see Harishchandreshwar Temple, Kedareshwar, Saptatirth Pushkarni & Konkan Kada.
Tent Stay.
• After breakfast in the morning, we will see Taramati peak and descend to our base village.
• After lunch we will head towards Kasara.
• We will reach Mumbai by 10:00 pm
• Contribution per person is Rs. 2500/-
(This includes tea, breakfast, lunch & dinner and private transport from Kasara to Kasara).
