Digital Download Delivery & Access Policy

This policy outlines the method and conditions for the electronic delivery and access of digital products (e.g., e-books, guides, maps) purchased from mumbaihikers.org. As our products are digital, no physical shipping or delivery charges apply.
1. Delivery Method (Electronic Access)
A. Immediate Delivery
Upon successful and verified payment for a digital download, delivery will be executed electronically and immediately in the form of access to the file.
B. Access Mechanism
Digital products are delivered to the Buyer through one or both of the following methods:
- Email Link: A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided during checkout. This email will contain a unique, secure link(s) to download the purchased digital file(s).
- Order Confirmation Page: The download link(s) may also be available directly on the order confirmation screen immediately after payment is processed.
C. Delivery Timing
Access to the download link is typically granted within minutes of a successful payment. Delays beyond this time (up to 24 hours) may occur due to payment gateway processing or server issues. If you do not receive the confirmation email and link within 24 hours, please contact us at [mumbaihiker[at] gmail.com].
2. Download Limits and Responsibility
A. Limited Access Period
The provided download link(s) may be subject to limitations to prevent unauthorized distribution. This limit may be defined by:
- Time: The link may expire after a set period (e.g., 48 hours from the time of purchase).
- Attempts: The link may allow a maximum number of download attempts (e.g., 3 downloads per purchase).
It is the Buyer’s sole responsibility to download and securely save the digital file(s) to a personal device (e.g., computer, tablet, cloud storage) before the access limits (time or attempt count) are reached.
B. Lost Access
mumbaihikers.org is not obligated to re-issue files or extend access once the original download limits have been exceeded or expired. Re-issuance is at the sole discretion of mumbaihikers.org and may incur a small administrative fee.
C. Technical Requirements
The Buyer is responsible for ensuring they have the necessary software, hardware, and internet bandwidth to successfully download, open, and view the file format specified in the product description (e.g., PDF, EPUB).
3. Shipping Address Requirement
Since no physical product is shipped, any address information collected during the checkout process (including billing and shipping addresses) is used solely for payment verification, tax calculation, and invoicing purposes. Providing an accurate physical address is necessary only to meet regulatory requirements for digital product sales but does not relate to physical delivery.
4. Troubleshooting Delivery Issues
If you experience issues accessing or downloading your digital product, please check the following before contacting support:
- Your Spam/Junk folder for the confirmation email.
- That the email address provided during checkout was correct.
- That your download limit (attempts or time) has not expired.
