About Ratangad:

Nestled in the heart of the Sahyadris at an altitude of approximately 4,255 ft, Ratangad is one of Maharashtra’s most scenic and historic hill forts. Believed to be over 400 years old and once under the control of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the fort offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain ranges, valleys, and reservoirs. It is best known for its iconic natural rock formation, the Nedhe (Eye of the Needle), which makes Ratangad a favourite among trekkers and nature lovers.

Join us as we leave behind the city’s chaos and spend a day exploring ancient trails, lush monsoon landscapes, and panoramic views from one of the Sahyadri’s most beautiful forts.

Itinerary:

12:00 AM – Meet at Vishal Hall, Andheri East
12:15 AM – Departure for Ratangad by private AC bus
05:00 AM – Reach Ratandwadi
(Get fresh)
05:30 AM – Breakfast
06:00 AM – Start trek towards Ratangad Fort
09:00 AM – Reach Ratangad Fort
(Explore the fort and enjoy the views)
12:00 PM – Start descent towards base village
03:00 PM – Reach base village & Lunch
05:00 PM – Departure for Mumbai
10:00 PM – Reach Vishal Hall
