An Overnight Biodiversity Volunteering Camp

Join us for a unique overnight conservation experience at Kehimkar Butterfly Garden, Karjat, where participants contribute to creating habitats for fireflies, butterflies, pollinators, and other beneficial wildlife.

Volunteering Activities

• Creating leaf litter habitats for firefly larvae
• Building moisture refuges and microhabitats
• Planting native understory and pollinator-friendly plants
• Creating deadwood habitats for insects and decomposers
• Removing invasive plant species
• Conducting biodiversity and habitat surveys
• Mapping firefly-friendly zones
• Participating in citizen science and firefly monitoring
• Guided night walk to explore nocturnal biodiversity
