Many children today spend most of their time between school, homework and screens.
We wanted to create a different kind of experience.
So we are starting a small residential Nature Camp at Tadmal Retreat & Resort, where children learn through real experiences.
During the camp, children will experience:
• Guided nature walks and a friendly trek, enjoying time outdoors away from screens
• Short daily life-skill sessions on confidence, listening, gratitude and empathy
• Exploring real-life sustainability systems like solar energy, biogas, composting and aquaponics
• Meeting children from the local tribal community and learning simple traditional games and ways of living close to nature
• Working together before meals, helping prepare ingredients and understanding the effort behind food
• Choosing their favourite meals as a group and assisting the camp cook in preparing them, learning teamwork and basic cooking skills
Sometimes all a child needs is a few days away from home to discover their own strength.
