Vasant Panchami Ramkhand Forest
There can not be an auspicious day better than Vasant Panchami to visit a forest and experience the transition of season. Ramkhand is a forest east of Pethmachi divided into smaller and bigger Ramkhand. The length together is around 5 km. We plan to ascend Pethmachi from Jamrung / Dhamni / Ambivali from one of the routes and descend after Chota Ramkhand near Kamatpada.

Ascend – 250 meters
Descend – 250 metres
First we ascend 250 meters (distance 2.5 kilometers), then forested near flat walk of 5 kilometres and finally descend 250 meters (distance 2.5 kilometers)
Board 0447 CSMT Karjat slow local. Reach Karjat by 0708am. We will return to Karjat / Neral station by 0630pm.
Fee – Rs. 900 including breakfast, return transport from Neral / Karjat to base village, guide, basic first aid and expertise.
