Once the rains begin, many tourists go to various waterfalls in the Konkan to enjoy nature. Many amateur tourists and trekkers take the road to Bhimashankar during this period. There are various ways to reach Bhimashankar, out of which there are three options from Khandas area, Ganpati Ghat, Ghogral and Shidicha Ghat. Apart from this, Pavli Cha Ghat and Bail Ghat are also options. The joy that comes from walking through this muddy path connecting mountains with nature is beyond description. Along the way, Padargad is also a major tourist attraction. Not only in the rainy season, but for almost a year, you will see people walking along this path and enjoying nature. The whole road is very dense forest and on a rainy day the mind is amazed to see the beautiful waterfalls. Tourists walk along the road  enjoying the waterfall.

Leaving Padargad or climbing a ladder ghat takes up a population of eight to ten houses. Padar Wadi is the name given to Bhimashankar’s Padar or the settlement adjacent to Padargad. Padar Wadi is the last place to visit Bhimashankar.

Many tourists stop at Padar Wadi to rest. It is not everyone’s destiny to stay in a forest full of nature. A man in a hurry does not get that happiness. Some families in Padar Wadi have made accommodation available for the convenience of these tourists. The most important of these is Mr. Gawari Sir. They have arranged large halls, rooms, tents. Their tents make you enjoy sleeping outside even in the rain. A tent can accommodate three to four people.

In the same way, in summer and winter, you can enjoy the pleasure of sleeping in nature in this tent. At the same time, Mr. Gawri has provided accommodation and food for the tourists. Tourists can have a delicious meal on the stove as per their liking. An overnight stay at this place is a treat. On days other than the rainy season, the scenic beauty of nature can be seen in various forms, but the description of the rainy season is indescribable. The chirping of birds after waking up in the morning, the fragrant atmosphere of the morning, the cool air gives a different kind of happiness and upliftment to the mind in the atmosphere of waterfalls flowing from Bhimashankar’s cliff, noisy water flowing, people’s Har Har Mahadev’s alarm and green shawl covered by nature. If you are going to this area, definitely plan to stay here because you will be convinced that this happiness is the greatest happiness in life. You will find the state animal of your kingdom, Shekru, in this forest. The hawthorn sight in front of us in the morning and the dazzling view of the fog and clouds that blow on it and the roaring wind make you wonder how many times you have to keep an eye on it and how many times you have to go back to that place. You can also enjoy bathing in the river or in the well. So if you ever go to Bhimashankar, go to Padar fort, make sure to stay in Padarwadi. And don’t forget to take advantage of Gawri Sara’s hospitality. You can also enjoy bathing in the river or in the well.
